Starting My JdeRobot Internship

This week marks the beginning of my internship with JdeRobot and The Robotics Club.

During this internship, I will be working on open-source robotics software and industrial robotics applications.

My initial focus is on understanding the existing RoboticsAcademy architecture, the development workflow, and the simulation and robotics tools used by the project.

I will use this blog to document my progress, experiments, technical challenges, and contributions throughout the internship.

Initial Goals

• Understand the RoboticsAcademy development workflow.
• Become familiar with the existing industrial robotics exercises.
• Investigate the UR5 simulation and control pipeline.
• Work with ROS 2, Gazebo and MoveIt 2.
• Develop and contribute a useful open-source robotics exercise.

More details about the project scope will be defined together with my mentor.
